SEA 2007 - Accommodation

Fitzwilliam College

Accommodation
There are 3 types of accommodation available - En-suite, Semi En-suite and Standard Rooms. 
Every room has a direct dial telephone (if required), data point, tea and coffee making facilities, complimentary toiletries and a delegate information pack. All bedrooms are serviced every day by the renowned Cambridge 'bedders'.  The rooms are in a traditional courtyard style, overlooking peaceful attractive gardens.

The En-suite rooms are located in Wilson and Gatehouse Courts.

 

These rooms have a shower, toilet and wash basin.

The Semi En-suite rooms are in Fellows Court.  They have a shower and wash basin.

The Standard Rooms are in New Court.  These rooms have a wash basin.

Meals
The Conference will start with dinner on Wednesday, 11 July and the meeting will commence on Thursday, 12 July at 0900.  All meals, including the Conference Dinner on Friday evening, are included in the costs.  The Conference will conclude at 1800 on Saturday, 14 July. 

Costs
The Conference package includes 3 nights accommodation and all meals, commencing with dinner on Wednesday evening and concluding at 1800 on Saturday evening.  We are holding a number of rooms at Fitzwilliam College both pre and post conference for anyone either arriving early or wishing to spend another couple of days in Cambridge after the Conference.  The costs are as follows:

Registration Fee (to be paid by ALL delegates)
Members Registration Fee - £235.00
Postgraduate Registration Fee - £110.00
Non-members Registration Fee - £270.00

En-suite Room - £320.00
Semi En-suite Room - £285.00
Standard Room - £265.00

Additional Nights (including breakfast)
En-suite Room - £65.00
Semi En-suite Room - £55.00
Standard Room - £47.00

Please note that hotel accommodation in Cambridge is expensive but for those who prefer to use hotel accommodation we have a non-residential rate which includes coffee, lunch & tea.  This must be paid in addition to the Registration Fee mentioned above.

Daily non-residential rate - £20.00
Conference Dinner (including wine)- £37.00

Payment
Payments will be accepted by Credit Cards, Cheques (GBP only), Bank Draft, or Telegraphic Transfer.  If you do not wish to send your credit card details over the Internet please download the Word document available at the beginning of the Registration Form and either fax or mail it to the Conference Administrator. 

There is a Late Booking Fee of £25.00 for Registration Forms received after 14 May 2007.

Refund Policy
Up to 1 June 2007, 50% of the registration fee will be refunded in the event of cancellation.
1 - 30 June 2007,  25% of the registration fee will be refunded.
After 30 June 2007 there can be no refund for either the registration fee or accommodation.

College Plan and Meeting Rooms
 

The Auditorium will be the main meeting room and the Gordon Cameron Lecture Theatre, Gaskoin Room and Reddaway Room will be used as breakout rooms.  The Walter Grave Room just opposite the Dining Hall will be used for displaying posters and coffee and tea will be served in the Screens which is the area between these two rooms. 

The Screens will also be were you will register when you arrive at the conference.  The conference desk will remain open throughout the meeting to answer your questions and help in any way we can.
